studioLineal is the design and illustration workshop of Emmet Truxes.
Methodology
studioLineal aims to create designs that advance the identity, presence, and ideas of its clients. As such, studioLineal collaborates with individuals and companies in all the creative mediums – musicians, architects, artists, designers, producers, actors, writers, bloggers – as well as academics, foundations, and start-ups.
With this in mind, studioLineal actively engages design problems on a variety of scales, including:
- full identity development
- web and print packages
- three-dimensional visualization
- detailed illustration
- logo design
- splash pages
- event posters
- illustrated apparel
About
Emmet Truxes is currently a candidate for Masters of Architecture I at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, recently finishing his second year.
After graduating from Princeton in 2006 with a major in Architecture he moved to New York City and during a three-year period worked for eskq animation: art+ architecture, studioMDA, and DCPParquitectos, while pursuing his own projects under studioLineal.
He entered the GSD in the fall of 2009, and went to Europe for the school’s Summer Drawing Seminar in Rome. He has also spent partial summers working in Mexico City on competitions with DCPParquitectos. At Harvard he currently teaches the Digital Workshop series on 3dsmax and Photoshop and is a research and teaching assistant for the digital design sequence taught by Chris Hoxie.
Previously he held internships at Centerbrook Architects and Planners and received additional training at Cornell, Rhode Island School of Design, and Lyme Academy of Fine Arts.
